    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I kind of like that, too. It stirs memories of the AA patrolmen on their yellow Triumphs.

This one has been kicking around for a bit

I give up!!
.....I can no longer control this BEAST!!

I've put waaaaay too much money into this Beast:

1. "Rare" XV920 Chain (Yamaha)
2. Set in a Kawasaki Frame
3. Suzuki Rear End
4. FZ1000 Front
5. Rare "Race" Magnesium Rims
6. Wrapped Corvette Exhaust
7. V-Twin with Slider Carbs
8. Customized Pistons
9. Street Fighter Look
10. New tires
....When she ran (I've only have about 30 miles on rebuild)....she ran (VERY Loud)...and (VERY fast).

KEY: I just can't keep her going....I'm done!

Will consider trade for newer V-Twin Buell

When she was running, I was going to sell her for $15k

Will consider serious offers

Lots of (extra) parts and GP "vintage" racing plastics (no headlight)....race only!!

No title. BOS and build (photo) docs to prove build....hundreds of photos!

Sorry, I'm at work, so no photo posting

BTW, in OR, need a title or you're screwed

Wow! All that and no title too with the explanation that in Oregon if you need a title, you're screwed. I don't know how I can pass this up. Being the guy that I am, I'll give him a break and only charge $25 to haul it to the dump.

Its so bad its almost cool.... What Erik Buell would design/build while on acid.

Wow, that seat.

Might look alright when he's finished it, and makes it run, and gets it street legal, and makes it go around a corner.

So many ambitious projects that never get finished end up on CL and then something clicks in the sellers head. All these archaic Japanese parts must equal $15K together for I paid $1500 for all the materials from wrecked and non titled machines...

Frickin' crazy this guy think he can get a Buel for that rolling scrap yard.

AND I would never buy anything that is based of the very flawed and issue riddled Virago series...

1980 Custom Honda CB750 paint color : blue fuel : gas

1980 Honda CB 750 custom rear fender and other parts. I had an ex boyfriend make this for me several years ago. Has a carburetor issue. Has been sitting for two years now waiting for him to come fix it. Probably needs a new battery too. Great project bike. spent over $1500 on parts.Really fast when it runs. 900 or best offer. need to sell.

I bet he "rebuilt" the brakes for her if he's an ex.
