All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

^^^I read that on my phone earlier. Even more painfully slow reading. Pretty funny, though.

Great scam backfire. Too bad he couldn't post it up to a REAL site to make it easier to read. So many popups and crap, I'll need to run a few scans on my machine before the day is out, lol...

I don't like it either, but it has more practical use than a stamp collection, or a beer mug collection, or an antique tractor that never does a job, or.........people spend billions of dollars on fluff and nonsense in this country.

To me, it hurts to see a SOHC 750 butchered that way. So few left in good condition that seeing another one hacked makes my hair hurt.

I recently was a "first responder" of sorts in an accident involving a bobber and a small car. Thankfully low-speed, on a intersection, with traffic lights. Haven't seen the accident itself, just the aftermath, but obviously the car was turning left, crossing bobbers track - which just got the green light, apparently. Broke guys' leg.

Pondering the whole thing afterwards, I was wondering whether the guy could've walked off with a few bruises only with a different seating position.

This looks suspicious to me. Gorgeous bike but the lack of pics and such a vague post makes me think it's probably a bogus post. Looks to me like an 81 1100E but if so, wonder why it's not mentioned??

'78 Honda cb750 - $3200 (Purcell)

78 cb750 bobber. She's a lean clean head turning machine. It's got a little bit of everything going on. Old Harley gas tank and headlight. 57 Chevy break light custom fenders and oil tank. Rental handlebars. Custom leather seat. Kick start only. Runs like a stripped ass ape. No issues. Gets attention everywhere she goes.

80 and 81 are the same bike. no difference.

I guess what concerned me was why the seller didn't include the model. G's and L's seem fairly easy to come by but a nice E not so much and may bring more coin, so why not include it in the description.

Maybe because he included a picture that very clearly showed it was an E? :-k

.

I'm with Burque73 on this one. It's a vague description, does not spell out exactly what it is, and obviously a file photo (and a low rez one at that) of a pristine example. It screams scam.

And now....for something "different"...{not the usual cycle ad put down here}

Actually I know this guy....friend of an old friend thing. Here's a real one off that will get noticed anywhere you go...you ought to see what he does with Anglias!
