A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I have not heard of any failures, but I do know that the reserve load rating isn't much more than what the bike would put on it. :o

.

It definitely looks like a Honda Comstar wheel, which was used on a number of models, from the small twins up to the Gold Wing. Regardless, there's just too much weight on only one wheel that is riveted together.

I like it.
Couldn't ride it, but as art, I like it.
At least they did it to a Honda.

The intake, the handlebars, the swingarm that WILL break, the exhaust (is that really pointed towards the inner thigh?)...
No, the exhaust appears to dump right behind your right calf, but apparently you have to ride with the air filter stuffed into your left armpit.

No, that's just it. It's not to ride, it's to look at.
The guys knees are bent already and his feet are over a foot below the pegs. Riding is just not going to happen.

I agree, I don't really think it's rideable. I think it would be like the position you're in when trying to get up on water skis: butt back, knees splayed out, reaching through your legs and holding on for dear life.

And a few seconds later you are face down saying,"Damn that hurt!"

Aww, c'mon, this is getting ridiculous:

Do they know what a flat tracker is?

If the exhaust doesn't get your right thigh, the chain will get your left calf....

And as was stated earlier regarding another bike - look at everything you're getting for the money: a custom bike, a rat rod, a bobber, a chopper, and a flat tracker racer!

OTOH - 15 bids from a half-dozen bidders, and up to $3k from starting at $200! But wait - the reserve isn't even met.....

Fifteen bids and currently at $3,000? That's just insane! It's a prime example of what a knucklehead can do when he has access to decent tools.

Never mind whether the bike is ridable....built in FL, for sale in the "hood" of LA? This is all about having a one of a kind for looks on your street corner, but not sure I'd trust any of the listing period or the seller, never mind riding it! Just send cash:rolleyes:
