A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

so many dudes custom the bike how about a monthly or quarterly showcase to see them?? what do you guys think. I have suggested it on letters to editor. it would be nice to see some of the kool ideas that are put together on the site don't you think?? I know I would like to see them. I don't have time to keep up with all the threads but hate to miss out on a nice ride.
Just a thought.

Man, you put this everywhere buddy

I replied to the on in Perf mods...

I would be into that.
Wouldnt be that hard since we already have a bike of the month. Just add another pic to it?

hear that

hear that

That sounds good to me too! It would be great to see some of the customizing ideas others have on the Ol GS's.\\:D/

I dig the customs

I dig the customs

Would be nice to see a streetfighter up there once in a while....

I think that's a great idea, or at least just allow real custom bikes on the front page. I'm not talking somebody added chrome to the brake calipers or some lame stuff. I'm talking a full blown custom job. That'd be great to see a modernized, street fighterized, or chopperized GS. They can look really damn good as some of the guys on here have shown.

It'd be nice to see anything just to have some more inspiration for my GS850 project. I've got a full length rear fender now and the seat's almost done btw. Muahahaha.

I think it would real cool idea. It's always neat to see what one can do to old school bike. I say bring it on!!!! Lets see what's out there.
Plus its always nice to get some ideas from the far side so to say.

do i win as no one has put a photy up

OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe tell me what frame that is! That CANT "just" be an HD frame.........

the frame was built by a company here in the uk for me called cycle haven, everything on it lectric box ,battery box, handle bar grips, exhaust, sissy bar,all done in stainless, with a set of stainless forwards which i took off as the wife sometimes uses the bike and as shes only 5' 2" she couldnt reach them, the bike will be changed again in september when the m,o,t runs out

Larry, Fern

Fantastic! what more can I say?, both your bikes are exactly my cup of tea! (I'm English! but you guessed that ... right?) ;O)

Larry, what seat unit is that? I have a highly modded GSX1100ET that your design of seat would look just fine on.
I'll post a new pic when I get her back after the final service / engine check / dyno as I have now changed quite a few things since the last photo on here

I think a photo dedicated to "old skool" metal designed to outshine / outclass todays machines would be a great idea, even better if they are tuned for balls out power too!

I live in Hope
