DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

So wake up to the nice sunshine and since I have been busing to work all week I figured I would spoil myself and my gs on a freeway commute this morning.

Traffic ofcourse sucks on I405NB in the AM as usual. No worries least I don't have to worry about much other than that moron out to kill me...

Sure enough I found him this AM. Was going about 20MPH by the newcastle exit. and this stupid F*@##R comes right over on top of my sorry arse:eek:. Horn went on and as we know they aren't super loud... especially when some idiot has their stereo blasting...I use what little shoulder I got to move over as the idiot now occupies the space I was in. Doesn't even look over....

Well that panzy SOB got a ****ed off GS rider banging on his window with me shouting enough to fog up my helmet and slam the visor up to see that teenager sulking into his chair with this totally re-tarded blank cocky look on his face... we all know where this conversation went.....*short version* WTFH you didn't signal or turn your head to see me there you &@#*^ IDIOT USE YOUR BRAIN AND EYES OR stay off the road you retard... There are plunty of motorcycles out daily and he did not even look... could have seriously hurt/killed me you little &*(@# PUNK. I so wanted to reach through his cracked window beat his sorry face in!!! I settled for the shouting got back on my bike and got past his butt and gave him 'The Harshest most terrifing stare down and moved on'

What a dam stupid punk lame arse lame brain C*&K S*&K*R C*&K Knocker AHHHHHHHH...... now its onto to work...... I feel better now..... ending rant

BTW the GS was unhurt due to me knowing from my safety course to have a escape route, and I hope I put the fear of GOD into that SOB

*Link to a GOOD MACK style Horn* here anyone know of something I can mount...these stock ones apparently are not loud enough since everone seems to want 1500Watts of BASS

GAHHH@(*#&@(........

Have a nice day :D

oh I want a horn that will wake the dead!.... for all those dead brain cells some drivers have these days

Man, sometimes, there's nothing good vent to clear the head.

Get it out of your system and move on. Good thing you and the bike were OK.

Boat horn in a can.
I know the feeling.
I drive truck in Seattle.
The idiots due it to semis all the time.
Glad the outcome was good.

Could have been ugly. Glad it wasn't.

Yes I was lucky for sure... usually I have a breaking chance... this time I litterally had little way to move since I was unable to pull ahead and had to go over instead... just glad I didn't clip the jersey barrier.

yes feels good to scream it all out... but gosh... some drivers

Those are LOUD. They make a standard bike air horn sound like a mouse fart in comparision.

found it ... once I get the front door replaced I'll be bolting that bad boy on

While the air horn might work very well, they're not cheap. The canned-horn is good, but only if you can get to it. Often times, you only have a half-second and that's it. My girlfriends Suzuki Intruder had the same basic horn that my old GS1100 had. What I did was buy a used Hella horn off've a Buell motorcycle for $10. It's the same horn you'll find standard on most Harley Davidson's and it is one very loud horn and is just as loud as any car horn.

Since I've gotten my HD, I've had three dumba$$e$ attempt to move into me and I gave em' the horn. They backed off immediately! Sure it's a little bit bigger, but so is the air horn or the can. Nice to have it, that's for sure. I remember earlier last year, when some weenie did the same thing to me on my GS and though I gave him the horn, he didn't hear me and pushed into me anyway.

$15 below for the Hella made horn. Chrome cover optional (search for 'harley horn')

I'm glad to hear you and your bike was unhurt.. seems that the drivers get worse and worse...agressive and with a cell stuck in their ear.
It's not good enough to watch yourself.. you have to watch for the 4 wheeled ones as well...
