Hi,
I changed the seals on my forks (78 GS1000) and I had some trouble with the bottom Allan Bolt. My impact was at work so I didn't have anything fast enough to unscrew it.
So I made myself a tool with a 1/2'' round stock that was lying around.
Along with a 1/2'' bolt for it's hex head. (the correct measurement is 19mm but 3/4'' is almost the same)
Total cost: 0$ Total time: 15 min.
I welded a T type handle and welded the bolt on. The distance between the handle and the bolt is 18''.
Now I can unscrew it by hand, very handy.
