A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

So I pulled the bike off the truck and turn the key an nothing...
Then I went through the winter storm from Delaware to Virginia...

So nice to see some new trees.

Rolled in and it was nice to see the gorgeous weather... 20 hour ride.

Unloaded the bike and... Dead. The Harley was dead on arrival. No power to the ECU, only some of the lights were working...
4 hours later after the 20 hour drive:

Burned out main harness, to popped relays and and an issue with the main switch... Some hot-wiring and switch repair and the bike is running... I'll be going for a good ride. to the Yamaha dealer!
Looking at a '18 Z900RS... Might put money down on that after I demo it tomorrow... Harley has been running great today! After my "Jedz" repair. 150 miles this far!
With the 1/4 million miles I've had on bikes I have run into the same amount of problems on my Harleys than with my Japanese machines... I have over 200K miles on my Japanese bikes and about 15K on my Harleys...Why? Japanese bikes aren't 100% bullet proof, either.
It will be in the high 70s today. Just saying.Be safe, see you Sunday.

Sorry couldn't tell ya. Most swap meets down here are 95% H-D. Hope you can report that's not the case, but I suspect you'll see a lot of H-D parts.
Lets do seafood in Port Orange!Looks like you'll have some nice weather while your down here, but I'm seeing we may have a 50% chance of rain Sunday. Florida is weird when it comes to rain. I can't tell you how many times it's rained in my backyard while not a drop hits the front. Keep me informed on what your plans are for Sunday. Also the choice for dinner is up to you, Italian in Cocoa or seafood in Port Orange. Both places are on the water.
Sure just let me know what your schedule is. I can meet you somewhere south of me if you want. We've got some scenic roads west of me in Lake county that will take us out of the way and ad an extra hour or two to get over to Dave, but it's better than just hitting to straight line roads directly to the coast. If you're hurting for time I can scout some roads south of me, but I'm not real familiar with them. Most of the roads from central FL to the east coast beaches are arrow straight. I think it is for ease of evacuation for storms.
I'll be riding Obee my GSX1100G. Red my 1100E forks are bottoming out when I brake hard or hit a rough bump. I either need to loose weight or it's time for some new fork springs, probably both.
meet at US27 and I-4 and do some scenic riding back. Do you want to ride over to Cocoa or will that be too much. I can get Dave to meet us near Oak Hill instead of down in Cocoa. Brandon is out, SuzyII isn't ready yet, unless he can borrow a bike.:encouragement:Hey Rick!
Unsure what time I will be heading back from my grandparents. I think we are going to be meeting in Lakeland so I'm not traveling as far to Tampa. Then I'll mosey back your way.
On the GS1100G?... Jealous. I'm so done with the Harley I should have taken the Bandit down. Slow, heavy and boring.
I'll shoot you a text, we could meet south of you and ride back over to Port Orange. But if I had to guess be in you neck of the woods around 2:30-3ish.
