    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

This from !clayton
I'd like to report yet another deadbeat alert... www.cyclepages.com, The site is legit enough, but I have ordered an exhaust kit from them for my 81' GS650G over 2 months ago. The item went on back order 3days after the order was placed. Sent them numerous emails requesting assistance with the item, none have been returned. In their policy, it's 30days on back order from the date the item was placed on order. They have taken my money, exactly $281.50 out of my bank account, with the item still not being shipped. I will give this another 2weeks before I take legal action against the company. The item i ordered was a MAC 4 into 1 chrome exhaust system. I really don't expect to get my money back, but I'll show them hell like they've never seen, before I admit the swindle!
And he finished with this
Everything is handled via email, I sent my final email today, the 28th and informed them if they did not meet my requests with a reply etc, I was going to contact the proper internet fraud people. It's seeming unlikely that I'll get any satisfaction, Won't let me cancel the order, or confirm it was shipped etc. I still wish them to be listed, I can understand bad customer service, but this is just bad business behavior. Seems I am out $273 big ones =(

The latest update
Just recieved this TODAY, after threatening them with an internet fraud suit.

Dear Customer,

The following part number(s) status has changed to Backordered.

Details on the backorder status are below:
<b.o. = 09/12/08

Please note that the backorder date is an estimated release date supplied to us by the manufacturer and is subject to change. We can also ship the other items in your order seperately for a small additional shipping charge. Please let us know if this is acceptable. If not, we would be glad to help you choose a substitute item or, if necessary, cancel the order.

You can log in to your customer account and view your order status & history at any time: Cyclepages Customer Login

Sorry for the delay and inconvenience. If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact us at: info@cyclepages.com

Thanks and ride safe,

Cyclepages.com

Now remember, they still have not given me the option to clear my order, or to refund me in anyway. The original BO date listed was the 28th, up to that point, i had recieved no emails, no form of verification that my order had even gone through, other than the website, which in all honesty, sucks. I still wish them to be listed if possible. I'm going to get my money returned to me, hopefully, and move onto a more reputable company, namely bikebandit.com
