Questions for ya. I've been reading about the "dot" head 88-89 GSXR750 slingshot head on the 1100's, but most bikes that I've read having it done have numerous mods already.
I have the opportunity to buy a complete head with cams for my 81 1100 engine I'm building.
My engine has the small end, unwelded crank, stock clutch, transmission pistons etc...
My question is: Stock compression seems to be in the 9.5-1 range and as far as I can see my new compression with the 22cc head will be just over 11-1. How much power am I looking at, will it be too much for my crank, and will the compression be too much for pump gas 91 octane?
