A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I purchased a Dry rider rain suit for my Asheville trip. Only $20 + S/H, seemed like a good deal.

Fit is very good. The pants are a bit hard to get over my boots, but seem well constructed and did the job.

The Jacket, however, has totally started to disintegrate. About 1 to 2 inches above th bottom hem has just really unravelled. It's a shame, because the jacket fit well too.

However, I must say that even with the jacket's issues, I never got wet.

I just e-mailed Neese Industries to see if there is a warranty, I'll keep ya posted.

I'll wait to see what happens with the jacket. If I get another and it holds up, then I'll buy again. However, if it doesn't work out - I'll stay away from Dry Rider in the future.

Who said: "Ya pays your money, ya takes your chances!". :?

WOW!!!!

I got a near Instant response from Neese Industries who makes Dry Rider that they have a 1 yr warranty, but I have to go thru the place of Purchase.
I just got off the phone with them. The lady put me on hold for a minute, then came back and said: "Mr. Platt, just go ahead and trash that one, we'll have a new one out to you in 5 to 7 business days."

Man, that was easy. I love it when Customer Service is actually a Service. 8) 8)

WOO HOO.

Speaks well for the Company and Their Product. They should be rewarded with repeat business and Good WOM (Word of Mouth) Publicity!
