I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I have a DJ Stage 3 kit installed in my GPz. I am tuning it using my LM-1 wideband. I have tuned the mains and the needles.
I ended up with a 170 main rather than the 180/185 supplied by DJ. I did not mind that so much, after all, how many GSR folk use the accurate wideband method vs. the primitive plug chop method?
The needle position was off by 1 notch from the suggested DJ setting. This is a non-issue IMHO.
The thing that upset me was that there are 3 stages of tuning, and they completely ignore the pilot jets, which must also be changed. My stock 37.5 is way lean, showing an AFR of ~18-22. I had to go to Z! and order a range of pilots, which (thankfully) they had in stock.
So if you get this kit, also get a set of larger pilots from Z1.
Overall rating 3.5/5.0. Why supply an incomplete kit? IDK.

Update

I ended up going up 2 sizes on the pilot jet, from 37.5 to 42.5.

I agree on the disappointment with them not addressing the pilot circuit. My 1100 had a 40 jet stock and I had to go two sizes up to a 45. With that jet I am 2.5 turns out.

They also recommended the DJ170 main for my setup (pods and open exhaust) but it was way fat. I went down the supplied DJ165 and still had to lower the needle 1.5 notches from their recommendation. It's still a bit rich at WOT and I am considering trying one size smaller however the DJ160 jet isn't supplied with the kit so I will have to order it.

I am not dissapointed at all with having to play with the needle settings as I fully understand that some tweaking is involved in any carb tuning. I would never expect DJ to be able to have one setting that will work for everyone.

What I am peeved about is that they don't include any pilot circuit tuning and don't give you enough main jet sizes up and down to get the job done without ordering more jets.

They include two sizes of jets that I cannot use because they are for the stage 1 setup and are too small. IMO they should separate the stages into different kits and include more main sizes to tune with. The buyer should know at the time of ordering whether they need a stage one or three and order accordingly.
