I have a DJ Stage 3 kit installed in my GPz. I am tuning it using my LM-1 wideband. I have tuned the mains and the needles.
I ended up with a 170 main rather than the 180/185 supplied by DJ. I did not mind that so much, after all, how many GSR folk use the accurate wideband method vs. the primitive plug chop method?
The needle position was off by 1 notch from the suggested DJ setting. This is a non-issue IMHO.
The thing that upset me was that there are 3 stages of tuning, and they completely ignore the pilot jets, which must also be changed. My stock 37.5 is way lean, showing an AFR of ~18-22. I had to go to Z! and order a range of pilots, which (thankfully) they had in stock.
So if you get this kit, also get a set of larger pilots from Z1.
Overall rating 3.5/5.0. Why supply an incomplete kit? IDK.
