If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Ebay Bar End Mirrors

Snap - I have the same mirrors on mine!

PLsuz1.jpg

And yes, I like to mount them on the side rather than at the end. Better vision than the stock mirrors. I tried them hanging down below the bars but my arms blocked off my sight line and I could see the mirrors at all!

Would someone be willing to weigh the bar ends minus the mirror and then with? I am lookin to replace mine with these but they'll take the place of the stock bar end weights...I like the weight for vibration reduction so don't wan them to be much lighter than the weights...

I could weigh mine when they come in. Will be a week or so, remind me.

I agree. I wonder what the effect of having the mirrors hanging off the bar end weights would have on the vibration dampening effect. My bike also has factory bar end weights so these would have to replace them just like TCK.
I need a set, as my GPz mirrors give me an excellent view of my elbows, but not much else. Also, I need black rectangular mirrors vs. the rounds, since I will also keep the stock rectangular fairing mirrors.

OK for TCK and KAK the mirrors on my bike in post #18 come in at 1 pound.Only have 1 small band of blurriness other than that you can tell what's behind .In part because you can actually see behind you;)

@SVSooke, was it about 60 bucks for the mirrors in total, purchase price and shipping.... ? almost 40 bucks in shipping......that is a bummer...

sorry, I didn't put 2 mirrors,,,,,I thought they came as a pair, but now I see it's 18 something for one, so about 40 for the mirrors and almost 40 for shipping....

got it....

man do we skinned on shipping......

Looked at a bunch of these on eBay,these where the least expensive for shipping, nice units to.If they had chrome ones I'd get some for the Red Skunk. Some how black one don't do it for that bike.

The bar end alone is 3 ounces (or 80grams)
with the mirror it is 6.5 ounces (or 184 grams)

I just bought a different set of mirrors, they were cheaper, main reason is i found these to vibrate loose. I am sure you could fix it, but i wanted a different look.

US $25 with free post.

Well, I have run into a snag. My current OEM weights screw into the clip-ons. The ones I see so far on eBay have a part that slips into the bars instead. They state I will have to drill out my bars, which I object to on several levels. There are also some that claim they can clamp onto my current weights. Any comments?
I wonder if these could work if I removed the barrel at the handlebar side and used longer screws that fit my clip-ons? http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOTORCYCLE-...es&hash=item3f0f392ea1&vxp=mtr#ht_5095wt_1396
