A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

thanks thatlly comin in handy but didnt quit have what im looking for trying just to get like a real picture of a engine both side.. ive tried google imiges but most of the bikes that come up have that plastic peice under the seat theat covers up the batery and air box n stuff and thats where the parts im mising are

easy peasy- just post some pics and we'll tell YOU what's missing!

try alphasports.com on line micro fiche. gives you a detailed labelled breakdown of every component of the engine (and the rest of the bike)

.

yea wasnt sure if it had a starter motor or where exactly thats located.. found sum clened carbs on ebay for like 100 sum guy at a salvage offred me non clean carbs but all the hoses n clamps n bolts for 150... an about the air box cuz i was just lookin at sum pics on google and i seen alot of these bikes where the guys just put 2 of them little cone filters on instead of the box is this doable easyly or will it require modifications

starter motor will be here, seems it's there as there are wires sticking out...

thank you.. so gotta buy one of these carbs and hook it up n an air box looks like it be easier to put them cone filters on but when i looked at pics of air boxes they have hoses comin out n not sure exactly what there for.. hopfully after that the motor will turn gotta hook up the electrical probloy gonna be a pain

get the service manual from BassCliffs web site it will help you a whole lot.....

cone filters require jetting, stock air box does not, start stock first, then move on from there if you want to.

if you get old carbs, you will need to strip them down, clean them properly, get new O rings and reassemble, only way to make sure they will work correctly.

you will need to go through your electrical as well, make sure it's all good and clean and ends have some di-electric grease, all the hacked points are inspected and done correctly...

I would suggest you start a build/project thread at this time.....

post pictures as you go along, the rest of us can follow, and assist with your questions as they come up....

Cheers

Welcome.
Slow down....You have some (alot) of work ahead of you. Spend some time here reading and teaching yourself about your bike. You are missing some very significant parts and pieces.
Tell us where you are, city and state, there may be someone closeby to have a look and perhaps lend a hand. :)

to larry.... i kno im missing carbs and the air box and battery other then that the rest of the motor seems to be there what other siginficant parts do u think are missing

Looks as though you're missing large metal plate that should be on left side that holds the solenoid, r/r and maybe turn signal flasher. It mounts under where the side cover should hide it, and a bolt or two that holds it in place should screw into your missing airbox. terrylee

yea thats there just not boltet in layin down above where the battery goes looks like all the selinoids and stuff on it thanks for the good eye tho.. im alset right now thanks to you guys ima work on gettin carbs and the air box and then ill letcha kno the next hurdle i hit
