Hi folks, in my 82 750 engine needs quite a bit of TLC, broken bolt in the head deep inside, valve cover has stripped screws and leaking oil, also there is a 9mm nut somewhere inside the engine so for me to make it reliable again it will need to be split open and rebuilt, my problem is paying 150 bucks just for gaskets when i can get a running 1100 motor for about the same, obviously you never know what actual condition it is in but if it holds oil and spins freely im sure it will be easier to work on that one than my original one.
Now i searched thru previous swaps and going from 16v to 16v seems to be a straight swap or do i need to fabricate new mounts? Also will my headers fit i have an old 4-1 supertrapp?
