One of my other bikes that I own is an '80 Yamaha XS400 Special, and it is flat black, with cherry bombs on it (it's ugly, but very cool for some odd reason... oh, and for the record, the PREVIOUS owner did that, not me). The wheels are painted flat black, and all the chrome as well. The bike looks like something straight out of Mad Max, and sounds pretty cool (also one of the quickest 400's around here). I really like the way this bike looks and sounds and so does my wife. My new purchase is a '79 GS1000 with a Vetter Windjammer IV fairing on it, and 2 chrome exhaust pipes. I want to nix the fairing in favor of probably a 1/4 fairing cafe style, or just go without a fairing all together, as well as I'd like to go with a 4 into 1 exhaust system but I don't know which one.
As absurd as this may sound, I am actually more concerned with appearance first on this bike, followed by sound, then performance.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to an exhaust system that looks good and comes in flat black? And of these, do any of them sound good at all?
I appreciate any help you guys could shed on this subject for me.
Thanks!

I found the Jardine "Classic 4-1 System with Steel Canister Mufflers", and those look pretty cool, anybody had any experience with them?
