DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

To all you modders out there. If i were wanting to get an exhaust for my bike and wanted something custom how would i go about cross referencing headers/whole systems between bikes, is there such a thing?

I've read recently that you can go to one of the vendors microfiche (alpha i think still has oem parts numbers) that basscliff has on his home page and cross reference the genuine suzuki parts number from one bike to the next. If the parts number match then they are interchangeable. I haven't tried this though.

what bikes, what exhasut; U wouldneed to be more specific unless you are looking for stock

the bike in my sig. and i was talking 100% general, if there was a website that has gathered various measurements of different exhausts not just suzuki

one thing being though is i think i want to keep it 4-2 being that its a "sport cruiser" and not a racer, i think single exhaust would look a little off on it

Sorry, I have only been looking at crossing exhausts between 80-86 GS 1000/1100/1150 and 86-92 GSXR 1100's

I've just fitted (as in a couple of weeks back) a Marshall 4-1 that was stamped GS550/650 onto an 82' KZ750 H4 DOHC. It fit nigh on perfect, the two outer downtubes blew a bit but after a little "tweak" they sealed no problem. Even the bracket for the rear of the silencer fitted perfect to the KZ frame, i couldn't believe my luck with that. So, in theory at least.......... maybe the KZ zuast would fit the GS? Would offer more options for you if that were the case. Obv i'm talking 4-1 systems here but i'd assume, it's possible to make a 4-2 system work out too.

twiggy......my 4to2 is coming off soon and it is perfect with the exception of the small ground off edges on the tips where I've dragged it over in the corners;)

If you're interested, it would cause me to pull it sooner than later and get my custom 4to1 done!

I'll get it shipped to you for $125........

i dunno yet being that im not in need of one yet just checkin ideas, can i get a sound clip of it?

i will have to think about it, i like the sound but i need to get my bike running first. Once i get it all squared away if you still have it i will look into what mod i would have to do to the hangers and what not

cleaned up and new paint and this exhaust would be pretty good for quite some many miles to go
