A Special Note about Email accounts!

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
I used to use them ALL THE TIME. Some of the guys might have even gotten tired of me praising them all the time.G&S Suzuki is cheaper for everything, I dunno why nobody on here uses them![]()
Tight is nice, but the only 1/4 inch fuel line you can get from any local stores is reinforced, heavy-duty hose for pressurized fuel systems, and it is that much harder to try to stretch over the fittings.1/4 inch is 6.35mm, so close to 7mm that it's insignificant. 5/16 is larger and requires clamps for sure. 1/4 is a nice tight fit. I like it better than the 7mm.

Not with any stock GS. :-\\\Would 1/4" starve the carbs at WOT and/or highway speeds?
So I really wanted clear fuel line. I happened to stumble upon this:
"Crack-Resistant Tubing Made with Teflon? ? PFA"
http://www.mcmaster.com/#5733k77/=rsxpl5
It's 7mm ID (9mm OD). Temp Range: -320? to 500? F. Chemically compatible with gasoline.
What do you guys think? It's slightly expensive, almost $30 for 5 feet of it. But I really want clear fuel line :-x
WOW, there is nothing like resurrecting a thread that is over three years old. :encouragement:
.
I understand that OEM is the way to go for parts/ gaskets etc..
Ive used part outlaw, bike bandit and partszilla many times; but I wanted to know if anyone had used an aftermarket clear or translucent red fuel hose before, and had been happy with its performance, fitment and lingevitiy
thanks
