I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I have the TSS motor with the Two barrel carb set up. The primary carb has 3 line connections 1 large line, one line i thinke that joins the 2nd carb and 1 small line. The petcock has 2 leads and the other side of the tank has a vent line? I need to know how they go.
Thanks For any Help

Please Help!!! 1985 GS550 L Fuel Lines

Hi. I made the post on Sept. 3 about the fuel lines on my 1985 GS550L, if anybody has any ideas, PLEASE help!! I need to get this bike running so I can sell it (I lost my work contract), also if anybody is interested in purchasing it, please email me! Is that legal to say on this forum??? If not, my apologies! We have my wife's bike up for sale right now, but I'd rather sell this than my wife's 1970 Suzuki T500!!!

hey man, sorry to hear about your predicament.

I don't know your engine or carbs specifically, but I can give it a stab>?

the petcock is opened by vaccuum from the carbs, so the smaller hose on the petcock is most likely the vaccuum. that will be connected to the smallest line on the primary carb. the biggest line on the primary will be the fuel inlet, and I betcha the third line is simply a vent line.

the second carb should probably be connected with an internal line, maybe a small metal rod? you may not even notice it, but it should be on a level near that of the fuel inlet and between the two carbs so that the carbs can share the same levels of fuel? does carb 2 have any lines on it? if only one, it's also likely the size of the primary carb's vent line?

good luck, and post back if this makes no sense!!!

can a get a diagram please of the fuel line connections the link does not work...

Welcome !!

Generally we like some kind of introduction. Where did you get your bike ? How long have you had it ? But, more specifically.....

What bike do you have ?!?!?!?

Tell us a quick story about you and your bike.:)

Sorry. I have a suzuki gs 550l. Was a hand me down. Just need to get it up and running. Would like to take it for a spin..

Did you look on BassCliff's site to see if the manual is there for download? That might help a bit with schematics, etc
