DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'am interested in a set for my 1000s. What have you come up with?

Wow, I just read this whole thread, I want in. Thinking of a set for the 750 with the 1000 engine, tach that wraps all the way around to 14,000 or so, speedo up to 200 MPH, no Suzuki logo or anything, maybe a picture of Scarlet Johansen on the face, or maybe some Vincent looking thing....

Dude, check out the first page, 2nd post from the bottom. That's what's going on mine. I'm making a set for hp1000s, who has an actual 1000S, not like my plain 78 1000 that I'm making into an S. I can send you what I sent him. Let me know. Also, read the whole thread (I know, it's pretty long) you may find some details along the way.

Sure man! Will try to draw something up for you tomorrow. Don't know about Scarlet, but why do you want dudes named Vincent on your gauge? Lol, bad joke. Basically, you provide me a picture, I can trace and put it in the design. The simpler, the better. V&H logo was pretty easy, took about 5 minutes to trace. K.I.S.S., keep it simple stupid.

Yes, I know what a Vincent is, and to tell the truth, I want one pretty bad! Took these earlier this summer at a CVMG swap meet/show. Mostly drooled, but took about 40 pics of this machine alone.

EXACTLY the reason I want one!!! SUCH a nice bike! The whole mono-shock idea isn't anything new folks, even though the Vincent actually has two rear shocks, the design resembles something from FAR in the future. Too bad these things cost you your first born child to buy/restore to mint. Alas, will be a dream of mine til my dying days. I'd probably mess my pants if I ever got the chance to ride one. Pleats don't help with that! :p

I saw a group of about six Vincents up in the mountains yesterday, didn't even think of taking a picture of the gauges.
I blew it.

From the internet...

Anyway, what I'd like is the layout of the stock GS1000E speedo face with the speeds at the same angles but continued around to 200mph, maybe you could change the angles just slightly so the speed reads correctly? And a stock tach layout continued around to about 14,000. No red line. No Suzuki emblem, no inner kph numbers, nothing else. Also, maybe calibrate the gas gauge in gallons, 1 through 5 ?

Paypal payment

Paypal payment

Hey Rudy;

Let me know where to paypal you the money for the gauge faces, and I will do so asap. I have a 82 gs1100g. Thanks Ken Hartz

As of tonight, everybody who has approved, has paid. The faces are on order and I will let all know when they come in and confirm shipping addresses.

Bringing my camera with me to work so I can take pictures and post them up as soon as I get them into my hands.

Ken, I'm so sorry, but you've missed the train by a matter of hours. But, all is not lost. Organization of yet another order will commence as soon as these ones are sent out. I've already got a bunch more to do, so it shouldn't take too long. If you will, please send me a picture of your stock clocks. PM, post or email to rakman_88@hotmail.com.

I'll have you know that absolutely nothing has been accomplished in the garage for the last few weeks. Sadly, all my time is spent drawing circles with sticks and numbers around the perimeter. :D But it makes me happy thinking of all the money I'm saving while not buying parts for projects that aren't being worked on.......... who am I trying to fool, I'm still buying parts. :p
