I have an 85 450A (automiatic shaft drive). It runs fine in low then when you shift into high it will slip out of gear. When you run it on the center stand it will stay in gear.
Also how do you sync the carbs? I have no tach onthis hike so I have no idea what the RPMs are. I have read the info on this site about syncing, and I don't have access to the sync tool.
How should the plugs look when the engine runs rich/lean? I have a small amount of white smoke coming out the exhaust.
If someone has a manual for this bike could you scan the images of how the gear shifter connects on the tourqeconverter side and email it to me. The manual I have is for non-automatic chain driven bikes.
