  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Im a very independant guy but now and then life takes you down roads where you have to get real humble and relize you need help. As you know my hip surgery from last year was cancelled due to the heart attack. Well the last year meds, therapy, and the miriade of other copays have taken all my savings.
March 3rd i finally got the hip done but tgis is just adding even more to the pile of bills ive been struggling to keep ahead of. So i got real humble this morning and created a Go Fund Me to help with medical and keep rent paid till i get back to work. Thanks .

LMAO.. thats funny. Some 4 days post surgery and im still leaerning just how to get in and out of bed. Also even with the stool softeners i havent had a BM. Meds are notorious for constipation. I may need to ask my neighbor if shed run to walgreens and get some madnesium citrate. got a feeling this is gonna be a long process.

It changes me not one bit. Im a take care of myself kinda guy.. always have and always will be i guess. However time comes for every soul where they must get humbled like never before and reach out. This is what ive chose to to. All i can do is state the case. The rest is up to god.

Tossed you a small bone there, Chuck. Good luck with your recovery. As mentioned last time you were scheming on how to make it over this downtime, I hope you sell off a few bikes in your fleet. You got a lot of iron there just sitting... Ditch the Honda's.
 
Thanks to the members whose names i recognise when i get a donation notification.
I been setting here thinking of things I can do setting down to "earn my way", So id like to announce that since im gonna have nothing but time for the next 6 to 8 weeks i am gonna embark on rebuilding carbs if anyone needs the service. Its a task i can do readily from a sit down posture so im ready to give it a go. Anyone knowing of Suzukis Mikuni carbs carbs or Honda Keihin carbs in need of love direct them to reach out via a PM. I'd like to know of a single down and out rider that friggin rodent has inspired to fight to keep his bike alive? Sheesh, I'll bet he never replied to a single PM about how to free up a seized engine, or pop out a fork seal....

I know of more than a few riders that spent many weeks in the hosptal from AVOIDING running them over. So sorry small critters but your getting hit if you try me. I hit a rabbit once and it wasnt hardly a thump. My chances of surviing some critter guts on my bike are hundreeds of times better in my opion that a swerve or brake lock up!!!

I was riding up the famous Angeles Crest Highway, in So. Calif., one time, when came upon a road closure due to accident. A short time passed, then a highway patrolman came up, and someone asked what happened. He rolled his eyes, and said the mystery squirrel got another biker.

I was up the crest another time, when I noticed a Datsun 510 smashed into the side of the mountain. A friend from work had a brother, with 510, that worked for the fire service, so I figured it was the brother. Next day at work, I asked, and it was confirmed. Apparently, the brother swerved away from a squirrel, and crashed.

With the current software, email addresses don't show in profile like they used to.

Gofundme asked for a "tip" but they did not insist on any specific amount. They allow you to put in anything you wish..
 
This was my response to rphillips PM. Got satellite issues going and tuesady at 130 is the first PT session...

seems now theres an added dimension. For over a year i walked pegg legged like a pirate waitng for cardo clearance. Well now that can walk with a somewhat normal range with the walker now my knees swelling and trying to recalibrate.. WOW!!!
 
So seeing paypals being sketchy i set up a venmo actt.

EDIT. Paypal is now allowing me to log in. Dont know the issues there but seems to be onilne now...
