A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I have been buying some parts from this supplier out of Arkansas and they have consistently been cheaper that other fischers. The spark unit for my GS550 ES runs
$ 282.17 vs. close to $400.00 from others.

Check them out. Tom

Have they changed their ways recently?

12-18 months ago, lots of us were VERY unhappy with these jokers. Some people waited months for parts, no replies to emails, no status updates, no tracking info, and people who called to ask about their parts got the runaround and bald-faced lies. The only thing they ever did promptly was charge your card the instant you placed an order.

I waited close a month for $40 worth of fairly common maintenance parts, with no communication whatsoever and no replies to emails and phone messages.

So anyway, this outfit has a very poor reputation around here. If they have cleaned up their act, please let us know some specifics of what they have done to improve communication and speed, and what your experiences are.

By contrast, several people here have had excellent experiences with Flat Out Motorcycles in Indianapolis. Their parts guy even checks in on the forum sometimes, and they order, communicate, and ship promptly. Best of all, their pricing is slightly lower than JT Motorsports/crotchrocket.com on the parts I have checked.

Well I ordered a new left intake manifold and o-ring set from them and a few other small parts and got them in a week. Thanks for the warning, I did not know the history you have outlined in your message.

I just ordered 4 sets of pistons rings from them two weeks ago and had them within a week. No complaints

Maybe they've changed their ways, then!

Anyone else been happy with crotchrocket.com recently? Did they actually communicate with you?

I've had good experiences with them, but I used the phone number to check on things if I had a question. good prices can be worth a little wait, but your instance was a doozy bw.
