    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Not so much a tag game. Is "Pic Of The Week".
Can enter photo that you already have that match the subject-category-theme of the week.

Vote on photos on Friday of the week (post your vote by adding a post to that thread, not this thread).
Need not make a photo submission to be able to state a vote.

See the first post in that thread for the general instructions.

Game Was started a few weeks ago. (Thank You, Roger Mr Burque.)
In recent week have had 8 - 10 - 12 entries during the week, and about same number voting on Friday.

This week is "Lonely Road"
Here are the entries so far this week.

Submitt an entry by adding a posting to that thread in Campfire.

Do not vote here. Vote on that thread in The Campfire.

Do not vote now, wait till Friday, will likley be more entries by then. On Friday you can vote by adding a post to that thread.
Say which picture you are voting for by naming the person.
Other comments and critiques are welcome also, but if mention more than one picture, do specifically say which one you are "Voting" for or which one you "select".

And, now we do have a few more fine entries (can see them there in that thread, not here).

Voting day is tomorrow (Friday).

Again, is not a tag game. You can use pictures that you already have that match the catagory-theme-subject of the week.

barlow 023.jpg Well you can see part of the bike. This is the Barlow trail, east side of Mt.Hood.

Yah, Gustov, you got the idea.
But, summit the photo in a posting in the
www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?250413-Pic-of-the-week-game
thread (Is in the Off-Topic Campfire section.)

THat is enough of a bike to know it is a bike, so the photo would qualify in that regard (I am assuming it is your bike. I recognize the Honda, and the bars look like could be the Rebel in you sig line).
Now, If that is a "Lonely ROAD", that would be left up to those that are voting for the best photo for "Lonely Road".

About if a photo qualifys:

Well, there is no mechanism to disqualify a picture that is submitted. About the only rule is the picture needs to have your bike in it and the subject-theme-topic of the week.
And there is no mechanism to disqualify a picture.
Just that folks need to keep all this in mind when voting.

Heck I could enter this picture for "Lonely Road"
dKeTyra.jpg

It has my bike, and has a road, well, two roads actaully (I-15 & CA76)
Maybe I thought one of them, or both were "Lonely".
Would be up to the voters to consider it. (IF I were to enter it, but am not.)
