A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Group buy for GS seat covers

  • Thread starter Thread starter Pit's seat covers
  • Start date Start date
I worked with TC on mine several years ago, all the seats at that time had white "Suzuki" lettering. But I knew gold was the correct color, so I asked for that and got it.
The seat cover worked out very well indeed. The only thing I had to do was let it cook on my car dash board in the hot Florida sun so it would become "supple."
Also, it will draw up a little tighter when it cools. It got so hot I could barely hold on to it.

Offtopic, sorta, but what's the process for installing a decal as shown above on a vinyl seat cover? Will just any old vinyl decal work or does it need to be of a certain type?

I purchased a Pit Replica seat cover for my GS1100G project, and couldn't be happier with the results:

There are some of us scattered around who wouldn't be able to take advantage of the group buy, simply because the onward shipping cost from the US to Europe would be too high. How about offering those of us in that situation a discount code for checkout? That way, we get the cover and still benefit from your GS Resources offer.

You got a point and I have been thinking about that
as geographically there could be some constraint.

Please use this and spread the words about the discount.
It's a 10% off, usually we do not give discount to individual purchase less than
10 pieces. But as a token of appreciation its special for the GS members.

The discount code is 10PBUP valid till 6 May.

Anyone know what seat cover would fit a 83 gs750t seat? Mines not the original apparently and it's like 59% duct tape from the po.

Got my seat cover today Im happy with it, looks great, seems durable. My only complaint is when I pulled it tight the seams seemed a little weak on the underside of the seat, i hope this doesn't become a problem later on.

A new product for SUZUKI GS650E is available for purchase now in case these bikes owners are looking for it.

Hi Ray,

The offer was for a group buy of 10 seat covers and above.
But if you still like to proceed, contact me and I work out something.

I need 2 for the 83 1100E if we are still on the deal program.
Ray.

Your cover doesn't look right to me. Is it the cover quality or installation? I need at least two covers but not if the final product looks like that

It looked to me you need more stretch on the seat cover

I think the seat on my '82 750T project bike is in good shape, but I'm not sure it's original.
I found some pics on my bucket but, I'll try to post some better photos tomorrow after work.

After looking in the gallery, it looks like there should be a pattern and not smooth like mine.

Hi,

Could you please advise me the actual year, make and model of the bike.
If I do not have, I could help you to replica by having you send in your old seat.
Some photos to my site email would be good.

Do you have one for the GS1150?
