GS 750 8V Airfilterbox WARNING !

My GS750 8V airfilterbox seemed to have some rust at the pipe where the venthose is connected.
To be on the safe side with a rebuild block I removed the airvent section with a Dremel and a side angle tool (Dremel 575) and some grinding discs.
A pain in the b. job but i got it out.
Here is picture of the part bent open.
This part sits above the filter so any crust that breaks loose can enter the carbs and ports !

a few more details,
The Dremel tool does not fit in the housing so i used a flexible shaft.
The angle attachment does not screw to the shaft so i used a piece of metal wire to secure it.
