A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm liking it. I appreciate all the pics and descriptions...... it helps a non mechanic like me understand what's all going on.

Keep it coming.

thanks suzuki_dog , i try my best i have been chopping and moddifing for ever always learning and helps to have the friends from all over the internet giving encouragement .:)

ordered these from my mate , these will be the start of my swingarm brace styled on the sanctuary japan type brace

very cool, did your mate machine these from solid? look like they could have been cast?
Cant wait to see how the rest of the bracing goes.

Is the bracing necessary? That swing arm looks like it will handle well enough.

mmm that bracing could do more harm than good :s Im with crank on this one!

Loving the build though! looks like its going to be a serious machine!! :)

replies to your questions ,

my mate machined from solid billet .

does it need the bracing ? no ..... but where is the fun in that its more asthetically pleasing and it will be a talking point of the bike
as its a one off no one else will ever have

that bracing could do more harm than good ......i think not its about look and i love the idea of doing it

had a few bikes and parts too sell but now back to this build

the side stand mount thats under the stock frame so had to get the 1mm slit discs on the frame to remove this bit

so now rear engine mount is aligned and chain run will be fine

i am going to have the bracing done angular like this one (this is being sold on uk ebay soon )

was purely talking from an engineering point of view, using that solid section.
But if you are just doing it for the aesthetic reasons no worries! Build looks great.

This build is looking awesome & you make amazingly fast progress! What's the status after over a month with no posts?
