If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Those HD drivers that dont acknowledge a wave will usually reply to a simple single finger greeting. :-) :-)

On the subject of waving. My wife was just complaining about this yesterday. She rides a Suzuki Bergman 400. She said she was amazed at the amount of guys riding big Harleys that will not give her a wave back. I told her that they're most likely weekend outlaws. They bought that Harley two years ago and have only rode it 5 times and they are afraid to let go of grip to wave.

Some of the Harley riders I know won't even wave to Sporster riders as they don't consider them real Harleys, and they talk about Vrods being #### Kawasakis. These are the minority but you do run into the attitudes.

Man I have been seeing them all over the place daily. I need to take a scratch pad and pen with me if I am going to record them all. There is a lot of running GS's in my area.

I passed two going the other way just on my way home yesterday. Couldn't get a real good look at either but the one was a GS650.

I was in Tipp City, OH and saw one at a intersection. I wished I could have taken a closer look. I appeared to be a brown GS750. Anyone from Tipp City?

Well I Got A Few More

Well I Got A Few More

I was in town tonight at Zerns picking up some beverages
and in the parking lot was a Black GS850G in gorgeous
condition with 45k on it. I left a note on his seat between
it and the tank about the forum. Not sure of the year.
So when I got back home I was planning on a ride anyway
so I took my camera with me to take a picture of it.

I came back into town with my camera and on the way in
saw this GS550L not sure what year as well. Here are
pictures of both.

As I was taking those pics of the 850 the owner walked
up.

He is a really nice guy and didn't mind at all. Boy was I glad :)
I talked with him a bit and he told me about a few of his other
bikes which I will not expound on in case he decides to join us
and would like to tell his own story :) It turns out that although
he lives in another town he actually bought the 850 you see
here only one block or so away at a local cycle shop right on
72 here in Manheim. Small world :) His name is Jeff and I
don't want to say to much as that is up to him to divulge more
or less info on himself. He asked if I was going to post this and
I said yes if it was OK with him. He said OK. Hope you see
your bike up on the web Jeff and join us! :)

I went and got some business card printer blanks at staples today and used Jay B's GSR card document to make up some more cards :)

I was at Paparo's tonight and saw a 1980 GS1000 custom jober there in for work. Left a card on it. While there a young guy named Jeff (two Jeff's in two days, weird 8O ) who brought in what looked like an early 80's GS650E for a carb job and inspection I believe. Gave him a card too :)

Not really a sighting, but had a guy approach me at the store when I was getting on the bike. It almost seemed as if he was waiting for me come out. Told me that he had an old GS750. I told him about the site (I printed new cards that night), and he said that the bike wasn't running. It had some minor damage, and he'd parked it after the kids were born. But he was itching to get it back out. I believe his name is Dan Krueger. So Dan if you're browsing, join up and let us know a little about yourself.

Brad

I have an almost sighting we have a new guy at work. He has a GS750 but hasn't moved it to New Mexico yet.

When he does later this summer we'll have two of them in the parking lot here at work.

I saw a nice looking GSXXXG pass me going south on thirtieth crossing pearl in Boulder last week, black with the red and gold pinstripes, looked like an 850 or bigger, fairing and two riders!! of course I was pretty far back in my lane and couldn't see much, but I at least recognized the make!!!

Just got back from lunch. Went up to the Lebanon Valley Cycles and was looking around. They had a GS650G? there with 33k on it for 1,495.

It was in really good shape but had a crotch dent in the top of the fuel tank. Weird? The type you usually see on dirt bikes, not street bikes.
Must have set something heavy on it.

GS sighting, Boulder, CO, 05-19-04

GS motorcycle sighted on Broadway by campus, blonde, short haired young lady on a black GS450/550, late seventies model. cute girl, no helmet

Blue GS with two guys on it, spotted on Pearl at east end of mall.

We know you're out there, and believe me, it's just a matter of time until we catch ALL of you!!  8O

I saw a nice GS yesterday in Dayton, KY. Looked like an 82. I couldn't get to it. I was in the Dayton-Bellevue, KY Memorial day parade with the Shriners and couldn't really get off the float to look. It was a funny color of purple, looked nice.

I saw a GS1100GK (1984?) on the used lot at Rocky Mountain Kawasaki in Longmont, Colorado. The bike had almost 48,000 miles on the odometer, and still had the Suzuki fairing, bags and topbox.

BB

Simon- I saw the GK when they first got it in at RMK-I think they're asking 1900bucks for it. It was owned by a trucker who kept a detailed records on it.
Snowbeard- did that red 1000 have small hardbags on it? I've seen a red 1000 in front of the vacuum repair shop in Longmont on Main St.
