DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Saw a GS1100GK heading west out of St. John's, Newfoundland last week. It's the first of these I've recognized on the road since I got mine. Lots of GS's around southern BC, though many are in driveways.

Alberg, Vermont, Bluegrass Festival, last Sunday. (14AUG)

Blue GS850L, seen right at the rear of the parking area, with a white V-marking on the back of the helmet.

No one nearby had any idea of who owned the bike.

I was leaving at the time, in between rain showers, so no other time was available to find the owner.

The firehouse a few blocks from my house had a GS450e out front of it... We stopped and talked to the firefighter that owned it... He bought it ages ago and it sat in his garage for 10 years... Since gas prices are going nuts he drug it out and commutes on it.

Annual VME run around Vashon Island WA. 9/11/05. I usually only see one or two GS's on this ride each year, but yesterday I saw about a half dozen nice ones. Anyone from GSR attend :?: Red 750 with tank bag, Blue 850 L, Silver 1000G, ..... Hundreds of nice old bikes (and I forgot my camera #-o) ....

5:30 PM today on 630-west. Beautiful red 550 E? with white rims. Operator was solo with a white helmet and white shirt; looked a little too big for it.

I rolled up for a indoor soccer game last week in carrollton and about wrecked when I saw a GS out of the corner of my eye. Swung back around and it was same year and model my 850 was only he had a Shield. I left him my card with the GS site but I guess he wasn't interested.

saw a green 850G in the back of a truck around the corner from my house. Im gonna stop and tap on the door this weekend and see if he needs a hand unloading it :)

I figure, its either someone to ride with, or a bike to buy, it looks pretty clean, paints been redone, looks like it might be rideable.

Heading into Longmont, Colorado this morning caught up to a 1100 Katana at a light. Stopped and spoke with the rider. Turns out he is a neighbor of mine and is a GS Resources user. Very nice bike Steve and equally nice to meet you.

10.29.05-- Saw a 83-85 GS 500 E red, with red rims. Parked on Spring St. in Eureka Springs, AR, outside of a B&B.

Just found out last week that a co-worker in my building has a
'78 GS750 with a windshield and rear storage and rack.
He parks in a different lot so I hadn't seen it before until he noticed
mine and he told me about his. Turns out we both bought them within
the same month this past summer.

here in Missouri everybody waves regardless of what they ride! When I ride in Kansas I dont get hardly any waves. I have only seen one GS in six months here and it doesnt look like its been on the street latley.always sitting in the same spot  poor bike!!!

Sitting in a driveway at 9th and Lashley in Longmont, I've noticed an L model probably about an 1980 or so. Are you a member? Nice looking bike. Ray

Saw a GS of some sort riding north on rt 114 in Goffstown, NH today at about 8:30am today. Who was it?

Anybody here from Washington State that was riding a black GS south on HWY 167
the last few mornings.....yellow vest, white helmet....was that you?
Shot past me (cage) like I was standing still. :-D

Last week temps got up into the upper 40s, saw an immaculate blue 1981 GS1100E parked in the driveway of a house I commute by every day. Nobody seemed to be home, so I left a GS Resources card and my business card tucked between the ignition switch and the handlebar pad.

The bike only had 12,000 miles on the odometer, and almost looked brand new.

There's a daily rider GS 550L in my 'hood. I see this guy on a GS 650G riding around Orange County all the time. His bike is aged but clean as it can be. Got the classic milk crate on back.

I haven't seen an 850 in years. Most of the GS's seem to be 650's.

Like I should have bought back in 86. They were going for $1600, either the G or the E.
