A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

My gs calipers when fitted to the fork legs are not equidistant from centre of the forks, l/h carrier nearly rubs on the disc r/h one has 3mm clearance, is this normal? Can't really think how to adjust this?
Any ideas???

The caliper hanger moves on sliding pins so the caliper body will center themselves on the discs. Of course this assumes you rebuilt the calipers, greased the sliding pins with special high moly caliper grease, and installed the wheel properly (spacers properly configured).

Good luck

Alignment of calipers

Alignment of calipers

Yes all assembled as per specification in gs manual, correctly greased, float nicely, the calipers is not interfering with the disc, it's the bracket which the calipers floats on thats nearer the disc on the left fork than the right one, still puzzled, my try a picture to show issue...

Bracket?

The calipers should bolt to the lugs on the fork legs

Looks like Boulevard Suzuki changed their fiche and the parts pic isn't working.
Here's Alpha Sports but the fiche is different, I don't see a pin, revised part number 04111-3030A supercedes 04111-30308 on Alpha Sports fiche, number 6 on their fiche is a holder.

In the time I've been writing this post, number 6 on Boulevards fiche doesn't even come up now. Wierd! But I saw it long enough earlier to jot down the part numbers above, and it was a pin.

Item 6 on this fishe is the bit close to the disc, the calipers itself is fine seems as though the wheel is 2-3mm too close to the left hand fork leg?

wheel centred?

wheel centred?

did not realise there was any adjustment on wheel centre?

wheel / axle spacers

wheel / axle spacers

item 8 on the schematic sketch of the front wheel axle has a collar at one end, i have the collar inside on both is this correct?
