I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
I bought a set of after market ones once and they broke. I would stay with the stock ones. I switch because that what I was advised to do. I use the stock gears now and have never had a problem. It is really only a problem if you intend to wind her up way past 10,500 rpm. I have my shift light set at 10,000 rpm. Save your money and skip that mod not worth it IMO. I don't even use a top end oiler on my 85 GS1150 and 15 years later the cams look as good as new and they are some big cams too.
Wow! I wonder how they broke? Something went wrong with the oil pump or the clutch hub.
I dropped close to thirty degrees F oiling my exhaust cam.I run 750 pump gears AND top end oilers on all the motors I build. They are just cheap insurance to put extra oil on the cams and rockers. Another benefit is that the extra oil cools and increases valve spring life. Some people aren't aware of that benefit but it is a fact. Ray.

I have never heard of the extra cooling effect Doh! But it makes since now that you mention it if your oils not traveling up the block it got to be cooler. I like cooler. I will have to put one on it makes to much since.
Do you know how much the oil pressure increases with the gear change?
On mine you need to relieve the pressure some as on a hard rev it will drain you sump and peg a 15 psi oil pressure gauge.
Can you explain further? how did you relieve the pressure
There is a set on Ebay right now a little pricey though, $195.95 or best offer. I searched , Schnitz Racing, APE, Star Racing, Orient Express, With no luck, They all used to have them in stock. I have a set I purchased 15 yrs. ago from Vance and Hines and run them still. Don' know if they make them any more or not though.I am looking for a set of HIGH VOLUME OIL GEARS for my 83 GS1100E. I never heard of aftermarket gears, we all sold the 750 gears before the huge price increase. Who made the aftermarket ones?
