A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

That's a slick piant job and the tool box is the perfect complement to it!

Alls you need is a period Datsun 240Z painted to match!

Nice, Bike. I have the Maier on my ED cut to open the 7" hole to better match the 8" headlamp. It comes with a mounting kit (I'm pretty sure as the PO actually had it already installed). I think they are actually available separately.

Anyway your pics did not come though to see what you are doing.
TIA

Do you have a larger pic of your bike? I am curious as to what the Maier looks like. Can't really tell from the pic in your avatar.

I purchased another Wes Cooley fairing from "Dude", I haven't bought the actual windscreen yet. The new fairing is for the other '82 1100EZ that I'm slowly (very slowly) building.

This time, I'm gonna stand it off just a little further from the headlight than I did on the red one in the photos.

It's probably gonna take a little longer now so I can get my nerve back with motorcycles again after my accident.

Here is a link to a slide show on how I cut the light opening to fit the Trainlight. The Red fairing was damaged in a wreck so I'm doing it all again.
I use RED Duct tape position the cardboard circile. The cutout to the size of the actual headlamp lens size, I then mask off the circile off (on the outside) with blue masking tape to get a round opening on the no so flat surface. I finally cut the opening with the dremel tool.

No, but I can post his email address if you wish.

I found him on eBay, he sells by nationals fiberglass you can even put nationals fiberglass into the search on eBay and it will take you to him. He's a really good guy to deal with.
