Thanks everyone for viewing my post and checking out my little problem. I'v just aquired a fairly nice '82 1100e that ran awesome for a few days but is now toast.
I'v ruled out the battery, Gas/Carb/Tank-petcock/ and fuses.
Problem is that it cranks over but gives no spark from either coil. No spark to any of the plugs.
I'm in the process of checking the Ignitor with an ohmmeter. (32900-45411) It appears to be a rare one.
Doesnt appear to have any battery charging problems but I wont know untill this mess is fixed.
Newbie question is:
My oil and side stand light are on when I turn the key ( dont know why they wont turn off when it is retracted and oiled properly)
Im wondering if they could be keeping the coils from firing? Are they kill switches?
