A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Is this an option for upgrading the GS1100EZ?
Obviously a 1100 would be better with longer forks but with a off set triple clamp to gain some height could it work.

In NZ parts are a rip and its easier to get the lot and sell what I don't what to use. From what I can tell the Srad has NO speedo drive from the front wheel. So I am thinking no good but I wanted to ask anyway.

1997 gsxr srad 750..

I have a 97 750 front end on an 86 750 it is a lot of work but I did it because the price was right and I have machine shop capabilities a 95 or earlier complete front end is a bolt on will post pics soon just putting it back together after painting but did ride it about a month ago when the weather was good and with the new front end remote resevoir rear shock and 17 dunlop 207 the handling and the stability is pretty amazing well worth the work.

yeah try to find a 94 or 95 750 front end if you can - for those years suzuki was trimming some of the excess weight that the 93 had, so the front ends from the 94-95 may be a tad lighter. it's not gonna be a huge weight difference, though.

might be a fact one day

I have a 91 1100 w/ srad forks. I used 91-92 750 triple clamps,96 srad forks wheel and calipers, vortec clip ons and a srad fender. It works perfect. I have the clamps for sale . I also have a conversion kit to fit the srad rear wheel on a 91 1100.

Yes if you measure the tubes off of a 96-99 (not sure yet about the 00-01 sizes)with a caliper and the 91-92 clamps they are the same diameter . spacing is the same also for the front wheel with. I also used a 95 lower clamp once but had to modify the steering stops from let to right. Im going to the garage I will check my 1000 to see if the gold forks are the same diameter as the 96-99. When it comes to the suki's I have done a lot of parts swapping and modifiying .The srad forks on a older gixxer look sweet . You will also loose your speedo buy puting this front end on. I was working on using a 96 srad gauge set up but got side traked when my 1000 came in..

obviously not me... answering these question... just looking on the net.

Well there it is... no speedo... bugger.!
