Used to be a member here 10+ years ago when I still had my last 1100e. I’ve owned an 82 1100g, and two 82 1100e over the years, but have been without a GS for some time now and I’m looking to fix that. I’ve tried all of the used bike websites, and I keep an eye on Facebook Marketplace (which is terrible to use), but I’m not seeing the results I’d like, so I thought I should post here and ask the experts if the have any leads.
My first streetbike was a black 82 1100g and I would love to find a nice example of that. Would prefer black but open to other colors. Beyond that, I’m a sucker for 82/83 1100e models (which are easier to find), and I would also consider a black/white 78 1000.
Looking for nicer, complete bikes, and willing to pay for well cared for stock bikes. Willing to consider anywhere in the US if the seller is willing to help with shipping. Hoping you guys know of some hidden gems that may be for sale from one GS enthusiast to another.
