If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

here's the deal, previouse owner said stage 3 kit installed, there is no way because these carbs are grubby needles are dirty, everything is dirtay, found pilot jets? are 110's stock?tank was cremed and filter installed 1500 miles put on it n the filter is still clean, needing a complete rebuild o'rings and all.
anywho i have googled for it n such but does anyone know where i can get a rebuild kit for my carbs?i bought a stock airbox to replace the pods and have a 4 into 1 pipe came with it which is quite smaller than what came on it that i will use, so basicaly i am wanting this stock/best gas mileage and rideability.
i have gone thru the entire link for cleaning these and will follow it to a T.other than that it needs bottom end gastkets to cure leakes and check valve clearences and replace shims as needed, then i should be good to go for many miles:lol:and of course get the syched hehe

As Octain mentions, you don't need "rebuild kits", you only need new o-rings. Worst-possible case, you might need bowl gaskets, but those are available at Z1 Enterprises and many other online places, as well as your local dealer.

Since you say you will follow the cleaning guide "to a T", please keep that promise. There are NO SHORTCUTS when cleaning the carbs.

.

Like Octain alluded to, you won't want rebuild kits as the jets in there are crap. Get the orings you need from cycleorings (guy is a member here), new bowl gaskets from Z1, and then some will suggest jets from jetsrus.com or even Z1 if you really want to go away from the dynojet set up.

yes i was just reading another thread, i belive the 0-rings and bowl gaskets and the cleaning, return to stock air box and the smaller pipe and a synch i should be golden, and cheap too thank god, 1 income 3 in the family it's tite but riding keeps me sane lol

ok i found a number on 1 main jet its 138 so it is jetted and the air jet is a 110 so my next quetion is ,does anyone have jet kit they did a stage 3 on that still has the stage 1 main jet they would like to share with me?no numbers i can find on the pilot jet for size, maybe they are stock cause there's no numbers?

There must be numbers on at least one of the pilots, they are hard to see, I use a magnifying glass, the nmber is on the side below the threads. Im not sure what the stock pilot air jet is, but 110 sounds kinda small. There is a page with stock jet sizes for the GS's somewhere.....

Carb rebuild tutorial linked in my signature.

yes i have it downloaded and saved, its the air jet that's 110 now that i am learning the correct parts and terminology, not sure what the pilots are but the mains deffinately 138's thanx to my sons help.i found a site to get just the pilot and main jet from and float bowl gaskets its like 40 bux delivered, the stock mains are 120 for the outside carbs and 122.5 for the center so i thought i'd order 127.5's and 130's and the stock size pilots, leave the air jets alone, clean em real good per the tutorial ,install the jets and have em sync'd by a dude local if the price is right,if not buy the tools, small shop knows these gs's well i have found, making great headway thanx to all the resources and wonderfull pple here.i do have a pic somewhere in my thingy, when i get time i will post em right so she is seen whenever i post,i have big plans for this bike everntually but i just want it streetable right now, will take some time due to finances but i keep stuff till it dies in a bad way ,long life ahead i hope:)

You should have a 125 pilot air jet. In my experience it won't idle with a 110.
