I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Delayed Update...

Yes I am still workign with this beast.... I am setup to get a paint job done... shopping around is key in doing this. One shop qutoed me as high as $1200.... however as luck would haveit I found a shop that offered a nice $500 and teh guy is an experienced motorcycle painter do a little plug for the guy for those in WA who are curious G & L Bodyshop in Monroe, WA ... the guy was very professional and informative with me. I will post the before and after pics once I get my fender cleaned up for him. I will likely be running this down to him next week stay tuned.

I am in the market to get a possible chrome fender to replace my plastic one but I want to see how my cleanup of my plastic one goes maybe will not be necessary....also I am still waiting on the polishing. Spent so much time with it before last summer I was riding it for three months straight with no hitches.. a few runs to Bellingham too. Awesome feeling... I just coudl not do anymore work on it, I wanted to ride so here it is winter and I am finishing it up...we'll se ehow the finances stack up.

This weekend I am putting in my newer engine harness and all that good stuff. I want to check out a master cylinder upgrade... I have read on here that a Kawasaki Ninja one works and there is a master cylinder doc in the mods section that I have been glancing at. We'll see right now a paintjob to reflect the interior work is just what the doctor ordered.

Stay Tuned!:-D

That is one handsome motorcycle.

Why thank you very much... after I cleanup the tires and finish polishing even those little imperfections will be gone, goign to replace brake lines that I never got around to..I suppose I should have said semi-finished product...

But if you read the entire thread after all the time I and well...frustrating moments...I slacked off and just got out riding...best to say I was all smiles out on the open road even if I knew my work was not complete ...yet

Thank you for your comments

Ok well Tmwnni and I completed the polishing on the bike this weekend and I removed my troublesome oil cover studs with a decent pair of lock pliers...shops did not have parallel ones but the regular ones I found worked just as well. Four came out with a little PB Blaster sprayed into them and the final fifth one gave a good scare when it was getting chewed up but before the stud looked to be about to break it came loose with a little extra heat from the gun *close call* I got the replacements ready and will get them in once I get the remaining parts I have on order come in at the dealer. Took plunty of pictures from the coil mod we did and some others.

Count on me posting them all in here when I get everything finished... building up some suspense heh...:-D

Ahem.,... just got the call from the dealer and all my parts came in so I will be able to fully put every body piece...on the bike and close out this winters bike maint session. Tmwnni and I got my new SS-28 windshield on the bike and the front headlight and all the front end pieces are on the bike.

I just need to get the tank de-rusted via CLR install the new petcock and sender unit and wire it up. Rack the carbs and attach all the fun little cables and then add the petrol.

I cannot wait to hear this rewired son of a gun fire back to life after the last couple months being a meir shadow if its former self.. links to pics in my photobucket will have all the new ones posted and orginized to show the good progression of all the stuff Tmwnni and I did over this winter...

And my new helmet will be showing up at the same time... Oh... YEAH!!!
