A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The site looks great, Jay. Question: Why don't you advertise much "stuff" for the GS1000? A lot of the parts you show (such as the cam chain tensioner) will work on the 1000, but it shows it only fits the 1100/1150. Not much call for 1000 items anymore?

1000 items are real dead. Probably sell two 1085 kits a year. Stuff like cam billets are no longer made, etc.

Lately we have been getting more 1000 parts request. The japanese haven't discovered it yet. That is what fuels renewed interest in the older bikes. The Honda 750 was dead then it became a fad in Japan, and now it is hot again.

Jay

Also the cam chains are the same for the 1100 and 1000.
I got heavy duty valve springs from ape for my GS1000, They were listed for a kz1000 but are exactly the same .
Heavy duty cam chain guide is same for gs1100and gs1000
The clutch hub kit for a gs1100 works on a gs1000.
The heavy duty clutch nut work's on a gs1000

Right. That's why I made that comment. I thought they should show that some of their parts also fit the GS1000.....maybe some more sales.

Love the site, but I'll second the notion that if you guys know that the parts will fit the 1000 bikes, you should make note of it.

Idve already bought at least the clutch hub nut if it was noted that the part fit the 1k.

We know what interchanges, but just never had listed it. We will change that next week. Keep watching.

Jay

OK, now all you 1000 guys, check it out. I expect you to be ringing our sales phones off the hook now. :)

Jay

If only I had some money, maybe next week.

BTW, you list vs750s springs for the 1000 and require keepers and custom valves?

When I ordered my springs, you guys sent me vs900k.
They fit in perfect with stock valves and keepers.

VS750S - VS900K Might be the same spring. This is just between us. Don't let that get out ;)

HI Big J,

May request that it is also love to see any engine kit package , engine head upgrade package, S/S oversize valves avaliable for GS1000.

Addy

For oversize stainless valves for the 1000, we have to make them from blanks.
