A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hand held devices

At a light, the second the lady next to me pulls up it's out with her phone. After a few seconds of me staring, she rolls down her window and says, "What?"

"Can't you put that thing down?" I say. "I'm at a light," is her excuse.

Light turns, she starts rolling (without putting the phone down, of course). The other side one car behind me is a NYC police car. I hit my horn, pointing at phone lady and trying to get his attention. I'm thinking, "I gave her the finger, now you give her the ticket."

But I can't get his attention. Can you guess why?

You can't make this **** up!

Best to just not let it get you riled up, because the idiots in cages far outnumber us. Adapt and survive.

Cop was probably on HIS phone!

Speaking of "hand held devices", doesn't that include tazers?

My hand held device is either my steering wheel or my handlebars.

Yep-- I see it everyday as I commute at the time when a lot of clerical workers (typically women) are also going to their respective places of employment.
Almost everyday I see someone doing something stupid and usually it is a woman on a cell phone (or a guy looking at his)
Once I pulled up next to a lady who had been texting and weaving for nearly 3 miles as I followed.
Her window was open so I shouted ... "HEY !" and startled her pretty bad,
I told here that texting and driving is illegal and dangerous and she told me to Shut the F up...
I yelled at here that it is people like her that kill people like me and claim "I never saw him" ...

How about this one:

Teen girl, on her phone, left foot up and out the window.

Saw this around the corner last spring.

I wondered where the driver's right foot was?

She was the driver. Alone in her car - I guess that's why she felt the need to be talking on her (not hands-free) phone.

And her left leg up and on the door may have been blocking her side-view mirror, but it looked and felt so cool, your honor.

"I understand, young lady. $200 fine and no points on your license."

"Thank you. Will you take my father's check?"

I'm joking, of course. She used her father's credit card.
