A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

ok i have 81 gs1100ex and just put a mac 4 into 1 on it and the dyno jet stage 1 kit, i go to start the bike and the bowls fill up with fuel wont run

heres my symptons

1.on the exhuast only cyclinders 2 and 3 are running when i can get it to run cause those i really hot and 1 and 4 are cold but i have spark and compression accross all four so must be a fuel problem and 2 and 3 pipes are the only ones blueing

2.there is fuel in all the bowls valves arent stuck

3. i have to choke it all the way to get it to run at all but seems only like 2 cylinders are running and when it is running at full choke its at 5k rpm and if i touch the throttle at all i dies imediatly

so those are problems what do you guys think i did the dyno jet instructions step by step so i dont know whats wrong

Are the plugs wet on the cold pipe cylinders? Did you put the pilot jet caps back on?
Pull the plugs and keep track which cylinder they came out of and what do they tell you.

the plugs on the cold holes are dry and the carbs are dry inside its like the 2 out sides are cloged but it seems kinda weired the 2 outsides just all of sudden dont work. iam just looking for suggestions on what could be the problem

Make sure the carb vents are clear. Are you priming the bowls long enough. Is the petcock giving you good fuel flow?
What size Dynojets mains did you go with and where is the needle set at?

iam running 114 mains and the needles are on 3rd space or what ever what the directions said, and the vents arent clogged

ok new update bike runs and idles all cyclinders are fireing, idle is good and wide open throttle is ok, my problem is know is between 2k and 4k in between those rpms it spit spudders and doesnt wanna move but after 4k it will scream to 10k it will go up from idle to 2k fine but between those rpms it just spits and spudders any thoughts

When I bought the Dynojet the suggested jetting for the needle was two notches lean. I had to raise the needle (lower two nothes) to richen it.
Did you drill the slide?
