I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hey guys and gals,
Does anyone know of a feasible option for adding highway pegs to an 82 GS1100? I can not find any highway or crash bars for it.. I have put a threaded rod through the top motor mount bolts on the front frme tube, and affixed a set of universal pegs to them. But they do not see very sturdy. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Also, every Tuesday night, they have bike night at the Sonic Drive In in Sachse (a little town near Dallas). I noticed an older GS750 there.. I did not get to talk to the guy, but was wondering if anyone else has been to that little "bike show" out there ??

Check Ebay that is where i got my bars and my Highway pegs.......It is nice to stretch your legs out

If you can find a set of crash bars putting a set of those clamp on pegs would be easily done. I have also seen several sets on ebay cheap. J C Whitney may also carry them.

Just guessing from looking at my wifes 550 with the same bar and my 82 1100 you would have to make adapters. There is a pretty good size difference. Bill

Those are different than the ones that are on mine, Mine actually mount differently.

Mine mount from the sides and the bottom to the frame, and then thru the top section with a long bolt.
