A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The link to the wiring diagram isn't working on my sig line, I'll point it elsewhere later this week when I can get to a real computer.

Excellent - payment sent via paypal!

Thanks for your help,

Chris

The link to the wiring diagram on my sig line is not working so I will email a diagram to anyone needed it.

I have about 7 on hand at this time

I'll be taking a few weeks off until after the 4th. If anyone wants a Honda RR kit let me know before next Friday.
Thanks again for your continued support!

I ordered my reg/rec and it came to my house in 7 days. Got it yesterday and AZR put it in my bike today. All is good!
Thank you Duane for the great service!:D:D

Those are nicer looking crimp connectors than mine had, I think.

If my gs1000 is reading 17v while running, am I to assume the RR is bad? It has the upgraded 6 wire on it now. If so, Im about to grab one of these kits,.

Could be grounds too, clean them all up, do as much of a Single Point Ground as you can. If it is still high replace the RR

If you have the dreaded 2 piece system with separate regulator it's probably bad . The Honda RR replaces all that with one unit

Here is what I've tried regarding adding grounds:
Ive got the green wire (from the upgraded RR) heading to the negative battery post. I ran a ground wire from the bolt that holds the rear brake reservoir on the frame, to the bolt that holds the starter relay on that side panel. Then another from that same starter relay bolt to the negative post on the battery.

Theres a black wire that was connected to the top bolt of the RR on that side panel. I connected that to the negative post on the battery.

I did all this in steps, checking voltage as I went and the bike seems to sit at a 17v when running. Non-running sits normal, only when its running does the battery read 17v.

anyone know why my headlights still turn off and on after connecting the 3 wires from the stator directly to the new RR? I figure its a kill switch thats in the switch itself.
