    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

This is ballpark. I bet someone will chime in with exact numbers. Stock I'd say mid 90's at 9000 RPM. My 1000G stock is 88. Marginal for as heavy as our bikes are.

Hell Nessism came strong with the exact number before I could even post.

That's not a Suzuki, that's a HD! :D

Ha!
At the risk of offending some, my newest catch phrase when seeing another bike on the road is: "Oh, it's just a Harley". They were damn cool bikes before every optometrist and accountant in town owned one and they became the most common bike on the road. It's like getting excited about a Camry or some other car you see 100 of every day.

^^^ Damn Skippy... Now the good ol' GS is something to get excited about... How much power can you milk out of an 1100???

If you did pods and 4 into 1 exhaust jetted right I'd say you get over 100 maybe 105. More than that is boring, pistons, etc...

I work at a gas station in lansing.. and two spots out front are for compact cars only. 99.9% of the time, they are filled with people who can't read and/or don't care with big SUV's and the like.. which blocks our view of alot of pumps and that is when drive offs become more likly. my boss told me to park right out front in the second compact spot both so A. we can see the outer pumps ( most drive offs like to use the last pump ) and B. it gives people with bikes a slot to park in, as i hug the line and am way up by the sidewalk.. anyhow, i digress.. i get alot of people looking at it sitting out there, it's kind of nice to see these guys on harleys and new bikes looking at my 26 year old bike.
