A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Very nice indeed. I do like the L tank with a cafe style, a very clean shape to it.

I did, however, notice that your front wheel is on backwards. The tire and rotors are spinning wrong way.

What do u think?
I think your pictures are rather small. :p

Need to post full-size pictures, and do them all in one post.

And I agree with Wyldesoule. Your front wheel is on backwards.

When you turn it around, check the tabs on the speedo drive to make sure they are not bent so they won't engage the gear.

I also think you might have a slight air leak between the carbs and the engine.

.

That looks downright aggressive. I dig it.

My two cents would be to paint the headlamp bucket black and the trim ring black with red accent to match the rest of the black/red accents theme.

Either way that bike looks wicked.

Looks awesome!

X2. I know you powder coated both pieces, but some of the black, and maybe the red since there's some on the tail section, would go well here. I probably wouldn't get too fancy with it... probably just black out the ring or the bucket and leave it at that, but then again I don't try very hard with painting designs on my stuff.

Whats the plan on the seat? Doesn't work for a lot of people but I really like brown leather. Goes well with silver and black -- dunno about the red though.

Can't wait to see it finished!

Love it! And seeing as everyone's put their 2 cents in on the headlight I'll do the same... just black the shell and leave the trim as is ;)

Just got done cutting the foam for the seat. Thought i would get a side shot leaning over my Dart's hood.

i think you've got the carbs where the airbox goes... ;)

Really though nice work. I'm a sucker for a silver / red bike I think it just right somehow. Although i would say that the tail cowl looks a bit small in comparison to the tank. just my .02

Keep it up!

I was about to comment about how your ass is gunna hate you, then page 2 pops up. Lookin good
Page 2??? It's barely into page ONE. :p

Go into User CP, change your view settings to "40 posts per page" and you will have a LOT less page-flipping on longer threads.

Coming along nice! Interesting idea to weld the handlebars like that. Saves you from having wear your reading glasses to read those tiny little gauge numbers I guess. Or maybe youre really short?

Gauges? What gauges?
