    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I can't see why...

Well yeah, It's got that "professional engineer build" going for it!

Now that he F-ed it up, he thinks that someone would PAY for that scrap?

There's a lot of idiots in this world but I doubt any one of them is going to go for this POS. Funny how he cut the stock exhausts, turned them out a bit, and thinks it's something magical.

"I sent the carbs away to have re-measured and aligned. "

Need to find out who his carb remeasuring and an alignment guy is. Mines revving a little to the left.

Thanks for cheering me up, been a crap day until I saw that, had a good laugh. Wonder if there was a typo error, maybe meant $20.00 !. Be interested to know why he feels he can only explain what the tank needs in person !. Clutch works though, once its been connected up.

Here's what will need done: Wireing harness connected, rear master brake cylinder connected, i have new rear brake pads and the springs have been pushed in so all you will need to do is place in and pump the brake, clutch works fine it will just need re-attached since i just put on those new handlebars, and i will have to explain what the gas tank needs in person. Might be willing to negotiate due to the fact that it isn't running. Never got a Custom title for it because obviously i never finished it.....and you can get historical plates for it and take it in parades, or whatever.
Should anyone bother to tell him that other 750s that are in near-showroom condition sell for about half of that? :-k

.

I caught that thing earlier today and about puked. Good thing I missed the price!

"..........Lots of work has been done to make this a bad looking bobber........." Mission accomplished! It looks terrible!! :D

Yes I emailed him with just such information! He asked me if I have ridden a really fast bike, and that I should just keep looking at pictures. What a tool. I retorted by asking tust what makes it any faster than my 750, i.e. engine mods, hidden turbo, or tust the fact that it has been hacked up, turned into a hardtail and had all the wiring pulled.
