A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

69mm bore with a stock stroke makes it an 843. :encouragement:

That is the same as a stock 850.

Yes but these are running in a 748ccm cylinder which i bored up to 69mm. 20190523_234753.jpg

now that i have everything apart i was considering installing new piston rings while im here. even though they actually seems fine.
but i really wanted to make sure what origin these pistons are. i presume theyre from wiseco. as it looks like a circle with a w in it on the bottom of the piston
and i have seen that same marking on other wiseco pistons i found picures off on the web.

i have no idea what the letters and numbers on the piston top means though.

It does not matter whether you bored it to 69mm or Suzuki bored it to 69mm. The mathematics of the situation say that with the stock stroke and a 69.0mm bore, you will have 843.6cc displacement. That happens to be exactly how the 850 left the factory.

It's probably easier to say the stock stroke (56.4mm) that Steve's referring to is the same on the 750 and 850. This implies that the 850 gets its additional displacement from the larger bore (69mm vs 64mm).

Do you really think his comment suggested that the same bore and stroke has different displacement depending on who or when those dimensions were created?

This is a wiseco piston, piston number 4035m06900, rings, 2717xc,(64to94mm, 1mm top ring,1.2mm 2nd ring and 2.8mm oil ring).
