If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

We'll I guess I am going to Immokalee 1/8 mile drag strip next weekend. It will the first time I will have ever raced against cars. They only have three classes Jr dragster, no box and delay box class. So the bikes run cars or bikes who ever they line up with I am going to run in the no box class. I am just learning to use the delay box on my street bike so I am going to take it off for this track and just run with the slider in it. They don't have enough bikes to have a bike class so they run with the cars. It makes for better prize money though. It is going to be hot but I just can't not go racing on my birthday weekend.

Get all the bike guys together before racing starts & have them all come to the lanes staggered so you don't get paired up against each other. Take out some of the cars instead of the bikes! Racing cars is a blast. We ran Super Gas & Super Comp against the cars in Hawaii & that was some of the funnest racing I've ever done!!
Ray.

It is funny you said that my buddy that races that track said that is what they do so they don't take each other out.

Haven't heard that name in a million years!

Haven't heard that name in a million years!

I used to live in Fort Myers, not too far away. My, the time does fly!

Looks like we might have to do the same thing up north in cheese land. I hope you have or had a blast... Our home track changed from NHRA to IHRA... Hoping to find what the change means for us...
Curt

We run at Kaukauna (Wis international) where it's always been IHRA. Classes here have always been the discretion of the owner. We had bike/sled classes, but when the counts went down he went back to having us racing with the cars. Lucky if five bikes show up now....

I love bracket racing cars. getting used to the difference in MPH is the trick to winning.

remember to look at the front tire not the fender when getting to the stripe.

Ok I suxed at Immokalee. It was a nice day over cast so it was not to hot I went with my buddy Roy Hagadorn. On the way there Roy likes to play a game where we say what we will run the first time run pass. Roy stated that he would run a 5.70 and I said I would run a 6.75. First pass off the trailer and he went a 5.75 with an .008 light and I went a 6.75 with a .004 light. I thinking alright I am dialed in but I knew I could do better as I had to push the shifter button twice to get 3rd gear. Because of my lack of seat time I felt the shifter bump my toe when it did not shift. So second time run I told Roy I would run a 6.69 if I could keep my foot out of the way and sure enough I went a 6.68 with a -.002 red light both my sixtyfooters were a 1.59. So I feel like I am good to go. I dial a 6.69 and first round I got the same light as my opponent but my dam toe got in the way again. I ended up going a 6.76 and she ran dead on. Time to buy back in. In the second round I tree the guy by .01 and my bike did not run even close to the number I went a 6.84 and did not miss a gear but my sixtyfooter went to a 1.66 for some reason He ran dead on his dial. Roy said it sounded like my clutch was slipping. I have not even pulled the clutch apart yet. But it would make since. It has been in the bike for awhile. I think it is time to quit playing with a street bike and get my pro et bike going for the next race. I feel like I am bringing a knife to a gun fight sometimes.
Roy finished in the quarter finals and it was the first time he was on his bike since it munched the tranny in November at the Man Cup race. He is a very good Bracket racer
