A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Infected with the hotrod disease

RacingJake

Forum Sage
You see that hotrod part you can't live without...........

Maybe a crank, transmission, head or even a set of cases and you just have to own them. But you already have 3 of them under your work bench and you'll go to your grave knowing you'll never use them.

Now I know how the wife feels when she's in a shoe store

when i get bored, i surf motorcycle sites looking at stuff i'll never use on my bike. don't feel bad :D

My shed is full of old bikes and cars. Not just parts, whole vehicles. 'One day' I'm gunna restore them.

(yeah, right!!!)

Yep motorcycles, lawn mowers, 65 mustang, motors, transmissions...etc.

My wife says I need to seek treatment [-(

I don't believe there is any cure for the hot rod disease. But I have heard the though the application of a slow gatthering of parts can you supp side the disease and keep from going completely insane.

What did you buy now? Or do you just have your eyes on something?

I heard on the news that they had isolated it to the be caused by a mutated gene in the Y chromosome. Bottom line, it's not your fault....

Yep, im sitting on 2 K10 chevys, a 69 C10, tons of rear ends, 350's, and TH350 trannies, a 250 strait 6 that "one day is gonna make 300HP".... a pulling mower project, mini bikes, 3 wheelers... ok, ill just stop now

gay zooks, one day if you think, you cant quite restore them all, put some in a 40ft container, and send themn over, regards.

Definite cure for that part of the disease - put your helmet on, throw your leg over the seat and start the engine.

Head out on the highway................ you know the rest. :)

Would one of those cranks under your work bench be welded and fit my 1100?
