A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Is this a sign I am riding too much?

Common with me too! Obviously I DRIVE too much as well! There's times when I sit on the couch to watch TV and I think I should be putting a seatbelt on!

Ok, yesterday afternoon I took my mountain bike for a ride, it had been a while since I had ridden my bicycle. About 2 minutes into the ride, I was coasting down the sidewalk and there were some garbage cans in my way, so I was planning to jump off the sidewalk, to the street and keep cruisin! Well the first thing I did was to try and twist my right hand for more power? There was none! My bicycle does not have a throttle! I LOL and pumped my legs and kept cruising on my way.
I catch myself doing the same in the car - twisting my right hand on the steering wheel.

Some times after I've been on the bike quite a lot, when I get back in my truck and have to hit the brakes hard because someone else did something stupid in front of me, my left foot hits the floor as if I'm down shifting...funny.

After multiple days of riding my bike, I was driving my truck, when the first motorcycle I passed, my left hand smashed in to my window trying to wave to the the guy on the bike. It made me laugh!

I do this all the time but never thought of it as unusual behavior. I think you are perfectly normal.

One reason I do this though is to let them know I am a fellow rider and they are safe with me. There is a stretch of I-13 that people just drive like morons on and so I try and communicate with riders so they will ride close to me and I use my car as a buffer for them. I only would only hope others are watching for me the same.

Been there

Been there

Done that. LOL It`s even funnier when wifey and I are together in the cage and she does it.
Mike:)
