I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Hi all.

82 GS850G

BS32SS carbs according to manual.

Ordering up some new jets and was looking at BikeBandit:
Hopefully this link will work:
http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/product~pf_id~3309469~section_dept_id~1170244~terrain_dept_id~1183501~cat_dept_id~1230868~product_dept_id~1231067~mfr_name~Mikuni~selection_Path~4.asp
Genuine Mikuni Cv Carb Jets (Small Round) Main Jets (Kn102.221)
Fits BS series CV carbs. Sold as pack of 4

They arrived and it appears the jet head was a smaller size?
I guess if the threading is right then it will still only let the correct amount of flow through it.

Any confirm that that should work/is the right thing for me or point me in a proper direction.
Thanks

By "jet head" do you mean the end with the screwdriver slot?
It does not matter how big that end is, it's the hole in the middle that matters.

Why are you ordering new jets? Just curious. 8-[

Our jets are the "large round" vs the "small round" which you have ordered. I don't know if the small round jets will work. It seems correct that as long as the orifice is the same size, there shouldn't be a problem, but I would think that the smaller head of the jet might not seat on the washer properly. BikeBandit doesn't sell the large round jets for some stupid reason, but the others like flatout and Z1 have them.

Let us know if the small rounds seem to work ok.

Thanks for info.
I will return these and try to get the correct thing.

Rejetting for 4:1 V&H /w Stock airbox using Uni filter.

PO put the new parts on but never jetted. I put around 40 miles on it a few years ago and then started to take it apart and was in storage until I could get a real garage.

For example, would this be the right stuff (not flow size, just correct 'flavor')

Yup, that's the correct flavor. I just bought some from z1...best price I've found, though I think others are getting them cheaper somewhere else.

Thanks all. Ordered a handful of good stuff from them, including some jets.
